GROUP BOOKING

Whether you are a travel agency, a tour operator, a coach driver or an association, come and discover our millenary site through a various set of means.

It is asked to each and every group to contact us before coming, in order to book a date and a time and send you a quotation.

If the request is addressed well in advance, the guided tours can be in English or German, subject to our guides’ availability.

The guided tour of the abbey church and its paintings on the World Heritage List includes access to the tribune (panoramic view of the nave by climbing a 44-steps stone staircase). The guided tour lasts 1 hour and precedes a self-guided tour of the conventual building including the former refectory and monastic cells as well as a temporary exhibition. The total average duration of the visit is 2 hours.

Any starting time can be requested within our opening times:

• Winter : Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 17:00 and Sunday 14:00 - 17:00
• Mid-season : Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 18:00 and Sunday 14:00 - 18:00
• July and August : Monday to Sunday 10:00 - 19:00

An additional flat rate would be charged for any request outside of these opening times.

For the Valley of the frescoes (the parish churches of Antigny and Saint-Germain and the chapel of Jouhet), an additional guided tour of one or two of these sites can be organised over the other half of the day.

Ex: 10:00 – 12:00 The abbey of Saint-Savin // 12:00 – 14:00 Lunch // 14:30 – 16:30 The chapel in Jouhet and the church in Antigny.

GROUP RATES 2026

Abbey of Saint-Savin (guided tour of the abbey church + conventual building) :

• Parties counting less than 10 people : 120€ flat rate
• Parties counting 10 people and more : 12€/person

Valley of the frescoes :

• 5€/person for each site

If you are a professional in the tourism field (travel agencies, tourist offices…), please contact us for group rates.

If you prefer visiting with your own guide, a 10€/pers. entrance fee would still be charged.

As a public institution, all rates related to the following year are subject to vote in December.
